The nationally recognized family/kids artist DAN ZANES & FRIENDS will be performing a free concert on Friday, July 15th at 6:00pm in downtown New London at the Parade Plaza. The event will open by the award winning Steve Elci & Friends. Dan has been recognized by Sesame Street, the Disney Channel, the Grammy Awards and numerous others for his authentic and inspiring music for families. The NEW YORK TIMES wrote, “”True family music, but executed with such sweet (and un-gooey!) humor, casual multiculturalism and shambling groove that you can call it your own. Zanes’ multicultural ensemble performs true family music with a groove, and rootsy American folk music that the whole family can enjoy and participate in. Sponsored by Lawrence & Memorial Hospital and the City of New London.
